Lansing is a great little town of about 1000 people. We have it all: grocery, health care providers, dentist, library, fire department, fitness center, churches, Zen retreat, B & Bs, seasonal rentals, motel, house boat rentals, bait shops, marinas, gas stations, specialty shops, local art shops, beauty salons, massage/spas, restaurants, parks and more! For outdoor leisure activities, we can’t be beat: boating, fishing, hunting, hiking, biking, bird watching. Plus we have a dynamic and vibrant school system if you have school-age children. Need more things to do? We are approximately 20 miles from Waukon IA,(W) 30-40 miles from LaCrosse WI(N), Prairie du Chien WI(S), and Decorah IA(W)

- TV: Cable company is Mediacom.-(855-633-4226) Many have Directv (800-201-0488) or Dish tv (800-201-1960) as well. Some can get local LaCrosse stations via antenna.
- Phone: US Cellular(800-944-9400)seems to have the best reception in the area but cell phone coverage can be spotty with all our hills and valleys. Landlines? Mediacom offers internet phone service. Other phone companies are: Centurylink (800-201-4099)
- Internet providers: Mediacom in most rural areas; Centurylink and Mediacom in town. HughesNet (844-737-2700) in some areas.
